I’m On 9Rules

Today 9rules unveiled the new sites accepted during round 6. I made it!
A few weeks ago, I randomly found 9rules online and tried to figure out what exactly it was. Here’s what 9rules has to say:
9rules is a place where members and readers can connect, build relationships, and learn new things. 9rules started in 2003 with a set of 9 rules:
- Love what you do.
- Never stop learning.
- Form works with function.
- Simple is beautiful.
- Work hard, play hard.
- You get what you pay for.
- When you talk, we listen.
- Must constantly improve.
- Respect your inspiration.
As I browsed around the site, I clicked the “How Do I Join,” link. Lucky for me, I was visiting on the last day they were accepting entries for round 6.
For those of you that don’t know, they will host only three rounds this year, and the entry period is very short.
For right now, I am unsure about what benefits will come from being a part of 9rules. That’s why I’m writing this post - I’m going to let you all know what comes from being part of the site. I don’t know how “exclusive” it is to be a part of 9rules, but it was kind of neat to see Elite By Design featured on their blog!

cool! well done. I think one of the benefits would be that your content gets on the homepage every now and then, imagine if the site got a big as digg! haha the ‘9rules effect’.
My site’s far too young to apply (two weeks I think :D) but I’m definately going to soon.

They will drive more traffic to your site as people are looking for exceptional new blogs to read with excellent content. Congrats! I’m going to try to get in for the August round. I wanted to redesign first before I throw my name in there!

Hey, Congrats Brian! Any word on if the “9Rules Effect” really exists? I’m considering applying in their next round in August.

wow, this is the 3rd blog post I’ve read about 9rules this week! I have not heard about it but I guess I should check it out.
I thought that if you were accepted on 9rules you had to put their leaf on your blog. I’ve looked for it on yours and can’t find it.
