I thought I would let all of my regular readers here at Elite By Design know what’s going to be happening this week. I’m going out of town for six days - until next Saturday. I will have extremely limited internet access which means that posting will be down to a minimum. For that reason, I have lined up two great guest posts that will be coming on Tuesday and Thursday. I will try to sneak a post in on another day this week. Sorry about this everyone, sometimes it is just out of my hands. If you ever need me though, I’m always available through email, thanks to my handy iPhone - so drop me a line and I would love to chat.
As they say, “absence makes the heart grow fonder”.
Everyone needs to take a break from most things in life. Even if it’s a unscheduled non-holiday break, taking a few days out from blogging is not a bad thing at all.
I really don’t see any problems with people fretting about the sudden lack of articles. I think that’s another Blogging myth. frequency is important for Google maybe, but I really feel it’s not important for maintaining true reader loyalty.

Everyone needs to head out every now and then. I’m sure you’re heading into internet withdrawal right now…
I noticed you’ve powered by Wordpress. Why not just write up a few extra posts and then schedule them to be released while you’re gone. Sure you won’t be able to provide feedback and comments on the fly, but the RSS feed would still be active.
Internet withdrawl? Naw. It was just a short term thing so I kind of had to scramble. And yes, I know I can write posts in advance, but when I have one day to write six articles? Not really possible. Lucky for me I got three of my friends to do a guest post for me throughout the week which has been a major life saver.
