If you’re going to do drugs Meth should still be the last thing you turn to… But seriously, very interesting post, love the harsh provocative nature of the ads.

  2. Anonymous

    Posting anonymously for obvious reasons..

These ads are excellent in the way they convey their message. Vivid, impressive, memorable, and go straight to the point. Excellent ads.

However, the message itself is poorly thought out. I have done speed (=meth) before – once knowingly, and probably more than once through ecstasy pills. I have many friends who have done the same in the past, and even some who continue to take a variety of drugs today. I’m now almost 30, and both myself and _all_ those friends are happy, living wholesome lives, with none of the problems outlined in this. And none of them ever even got close to such a fate.

The truth is, it’s not using drugs that destroys your life, it’s abusing them. Not knowing how to use drugs responsibly is the same as not knowing how to drink responsibly – it can destroy your life. If you are well informed and are not in a terrible environment, you can happily use pretty much every drug under the sun, with moderation, and still have a good, normal life.

The message of “not even once” is incorrect – even for meth, which I will grant is a “bad drug” in the sense that it is addictive over time and has many nasty side-effects. However, kids will watch these adverts that say “using drugs even once will destroy your life” and at first they may believe them, but then they will eventually find out that the adverts were lies. Then what happens? They discredit the whole message.

It would be much better for these associations to focus on producing informative messages that teach people how to use drugs responsibly, and which drugs are most dangerous, etc. The last advert is from an organisation called “drugfreeworld.org” (silly name – is aspirin bad too?), which features on their website a similar advert claiming that Cannabis will destroy your life. That’s patently ridiculous – almost every kid will know both other teenagers and adults who smoke weed and yet are not the worse for it. Yet the effect of this exaggeration is to discredit the whole website – or even the whole organisation and the whole movement, depending on the context. Even worse, it can discredit those who reasonably declare that drug ABuse is dangerous.

An advert about these adverts might read: “Everyone lies. A little lie never hurt anyone. Except drug lies.”

I think they serve their own purpose….is a problem that cant be disguised and needs to have strong ads to reach the persons involved…otherwise you want reach the public your aiming to.

  4. Ashly Lorenzana

Okay…as someone who has used methamphetamine for a good solid 4 years now on a daily basis, I have to laugh at the exaggeration of these ads. It reminds me a great deal of Reefer Madness! I am not trying to make light of the subject at all, however. I mean no offense. There ARE cases in which people do pick obsessively, I know some people that are helpless pickers. But to literally try and rip all of your skin off your body is, um…rather rare and extreme. Drugs affect different people in different ways. Some people are more severely and negatively affected than others, which is not their fault and is a very devastating downward spiral. It is very painful to watch someone you know or even a total stranger go through that. Anyone with compassion should be moved by such things.

I have been shooting up meth on average about anywhere from 2-5 times each day since I was 17 and you know what? My teeth are in excellent condition, not one dental problem as of yet. Because I brush my teeth. A lot of people using meth get lazy as a side effect and just let themselves go. However, that is not something that has to happen and it is certainly not a guaranteed outcome of using the drug. My skin is clear and I do NOT pick it. I’m not really even ever tempted to, to be honest. Not after I’ve seen friends of mine with scarred up faces, it is not worth wearing it on your face for the rest of your life. I am in pretty good condition actually. When I go the doctor for regular check-ups, it turns out that I am actually very healthy. Part of that is my age, since I’m still only 21. But a lot of it is taking care of myself, despite the fact that I use as much as I do.

Oh yes, and the other issues. The loss of one’s identity. I can say today, honestly, that I have NEVER stolen from another person in order to support my own habit, I have never let myself become a liar as a direct or indirect result of my addiction. Because you don’t have to let that happen. Not all people lose themselves. Many have and do and many more will in the future, which I think is again very tragic. But don’t let the ads put out by the media brainwash you. As a general rule, it is never a good idea to play with fire. Trying something like meth is definitely NOT something that I would recommend, as most people would say that they regret ever trying it. If that is the general consensus, why take the chance?

Just my two cents. My sympathy for all those addicts suffering still.

hahaha I love all the druggies coming out to say how ok it is to do drugs, as long as youre responsible about it. great insights, losers. you dont even know what your drugs are cut with, so how do you know they’re safe?
“oh i shoot meth but my teeth are fine, take THAT!”
    congrats, genius.

  6. Reginald VelJohnson

No offense to you meth users but it’s meant to shock kids. Not every meth users, turns out like this, but I’m sure a decent amount do.

Frankly, I can see people trying other drugs from time to time, but meth users are the lowest of the low. What would possess you to use something containing benzene? Drain cleaner? battery acid? chloroform? I can’t take anything seriously from somebody who would do that to themselves.

  7. Elle

    Ashly/Mona,

I’ve known many people who used meth. Without exception they all wound up at a medical facility with strange abscesses on various parts of their bodies. (“The doctor said my razor was rusty,” was one woman’s excuse for the boil under her arm that had to be surgically removed.)

How often does this happen to you and were you honest with your doctor?

The saddest thing–in some ways worse than these ads depict–is the loss of self-honesty.

You may not care today, but some day you will remember having a young body and good health.

    Peace.

  8. Jonathan Cutrell

Well it just simply makes sense, doesn’t it?

First of all… interesting post. Quite controversial, and begs to divert from the intention of the post (which obviously wasn’t to ask the question of whether it is okay to use meth).

    But just for kicks…

The Ads serve the purpose of showing what COULD happen to users of meth/other drugs. The intent is not to unveil some secret world that ALL meth users are a part of. It’s kind of like an extreme General Surgeon’s Warning (except for the whole illegal-to-actually-use-meth part). You smoke cigarettes? Well of course, you have the right to know the possible consequences. Personally, I wouldn’t ever take part in something that has those possible outcomes…

But then again, overeating, under-eating, and lack of exercise aren’t really all that innocent.

    Overall?

    Good ads.

Of course the drug-users are going to come out of the woodwork and “fight for the right.” The right for what again? You already have the right to disagree… And the ads were put together WITHOUT claiming to be the picture of 100% of all meth users.

  9. Ashly

    Brooke,

Exactly what do you base your opinion of a person on? What medications they take? What drugs they do? You probably think every person employed by a McDonald’s is a loser too, right? Guess what. You’re wrong. Whether or not a person is a “loser” should be something determined by their personality traits and other qualities. You know, things that actually define a person’s nature, like violence and how they treat other people. I wasn’t saying that doing drugs is cool. I believe I even discouraged using them at all, reasoning that it is not worth the risk in almost all cases.

    Reginald VelJohnson,
How can a person use something that contains all the vile stuff used to make meth? Obviously that is something a person does not understand, without ever doing it. Unfortunately, once you know it’s too late. I would suggest that people just keep wondering and not find out. I’m not justifying causing harm to one’s self by using substances that are indeed damn near toxic. Not at all.

    Elle,
Yes, people who use meth (and other drugs) do suffer a number of different medical problems, all of which are a direct implication of their drug use. However, diabetics are every bit as likely to develop an abscess as an IV drug user. Are they gross too? Should they be viewed as less disgusting when they enter the emergency room with a big nasty pocket of infectious pus that has showed up on some part of their body? That’s what it sounds like you’re saying. And by the way, a staph infection can happen to anyone, even if they don’t use needles at all. Abscesses can be caused by an ingrown hair, and it’s NO less gross. And oftentimes it’s not because of something absolutely ridiculous like a rusty razor. Ask a doctor, and they will confirm that staphylococci is a bacteria that is HIGHLY contagious, and two of the places it thrives most are bath towels (after someone has used one) and in razors being used by a person with a staph infection. It doesn’t have to be rusty, the bacterial can seed itself into your skin just from using a perfectly normal looking razor. Pretty sick, yes. But it’s just funny how the picture is always painted as dramatically as it is.

I have to say, looking over those pictures of rotting out teeth and sores covering faces, those people would be more likely to be featured on advertisements for a really over-the-top and ridiculous zombie film. Seriously. But I have seen people with with rotting teeth as bad as shown above who DON’T do any drugs at all. And I’ve also seen pictures of people with cystic acne who’s faces are just as bad as those above and WORSE.

Don’t judge people by anything other than who they really are, rather than their job, their appearance, what drugs they do or don’t do, and all things equally as stupid. Worry more about a person’s character, rather than where they fall into society’s idea of what is good and bad.

  10. Bryan D. Hughes

The purpose is great, but the campaign will fail for the exact same reason that the rest of the “War on Drugs” shock statements have: they just aren’t true. Meth is indeed a horrible drug, but the reality is that the person who may offer someone the drug for the first time won’t have scabs all over their face, and it won’t be in a filthy bathroom, or any other scenario from the above design.

People don’t like being lied to, and as soon as a young person actually sees meth for the first time … on a back porch at a party, in a car at lunch break from school, in any number of unexpected and familiar surroundings, these ads will be not only useless but may even strengthen the independent, anti-authority sentiment that may cause one to turn to drugs.

Honesty works more than people give it credit for. How can marketers seem to always forget that when the topic changes from selling widgets to something more serious? Talk to teenagers as if they were young adult human beings rather than scared rabbits and maybe they’ll make some ground in the longest-running “war” the government has ever waged.

  11. Dainis Graveris

huh, people are going deep in discussions.. I look as designer – I don’t enjoy what I see..but that means advertisments are great and fulfil their goals..

You make a good point here, one that’s often missed by the anti-drugs-but-never-tried crowd… many other activities can destroy your life. Take driving – should we bombard people with adverts showing them pictures of horribly mutilated accident victims, mangled bodies, disfigured children, etc? Should we accompany that with a message such as “Driving – not even once”? “Being disfigured and paralyzed from the waist down isn’t normal – but when driving it is”. Those would only depict a possible outcome of driving. Yet everyone would laugh them off as the outrageous and ridiculous exaggerations that they are. And then, as Bryan pointed out, they’ll discard the whole message and assume that driving is altogether completely safe.

Which is exactly what all people who have used drugs (note: the vast majority of people who have used drugs don’t do so regularly) do with these meth adverts: I shake my head and shrug and wonder what else the rabid anti-drug crowd will come up with. It’s a laughable, unbelievable exaggeration that won’t stop anyone from doing meth or other drugs.

The funny thing is, I was one of the rabid anti-drug crowd too, when I was 17, and I took that opinion from my parents, who believe that drugs are bad mmkay? Then I had a spliff, and guess what, I didn’t turn into some freak. So I went and researched the subject for myself, since my parents’ opinion was obviously incorrect. I made it a general principle to research a drug before I tried it, and to make a decision in advance about which drugs I was willing to try and which I wasn’t.

Then I experimented with various other drugs – ecstasy, shrooms, lsd… all of those are on the whole harmless from a health point of view. In fact, I would recommend to anyone who’s mentally balanced to try them once, because they make your life richer and open up your view of the world. Now I’m almost 30, I haven’t had any drugs for about 6 months… I still take drugs occasionally, but not with any regularity. That’s a responsible way to use drugs – even Meth, though, as I said, I only took that once knowingly.

That said, no drugs should be abused – and the definition of abuse depends on the drug. Smoking a few spliffs every week may not be great for your lungs, but it’s still far, far less harmful than the average cigarette or alcohol habit. On the other hand, dropping ecstasy every weekend is not good for you at all.

Before using a drug, research it, so you know what’s a safe way to use it and what’s not. http://www.erowid.org/ is an excellent site for this.

To Ashly: in the case of meth, please have a read at http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/meth/meth_effects.shtml . You’ll see that there are a number of particularly nasty long-term side-effects of regular meth use. You won’t see them in your body yet because you’re only 21 and these take a long time to set in. They’ll only hurt you in a few years, but that will come quicker than you think. Apart from the health side-effects, regular use of amphetamines/coke is also often accompanied by some fairly visible premature aging. Your skin will look a few years older, you’ll look a bit more worn out, more tired, etc. Do you want to look 40 when you’re 30? Young women care about their appearance, even more so when they’re getting older. Your meth habit will really not help you there. I would strongly recommend that you figure out a way to kick that habit as soon as possible. Injecting meth 3-4 times a day is *not* a responsible use of that drug, no matter whether you successfully control and cover up its short-term side-effects. With 4 years of habitual use behind you it will be very hard and long to wean yourself off, so better get started soon.

“Of course the drug-users are going to come out of the woodwork and “fight for the right.” The right for what again? You already have the right to disagree… And the ads were put together WITHOUT claiming to be the picture of 100% of all meth users.”

The right for what? I’m not fighting for any right. I already took the rights I wanted. The reason I’m posting these comments is to dispel this incorrect view of drugs in the hope that it will lead to more responsible use. As you said, people don’t like being lied to. Entertainment drugs, like cars, medical drugs, and alcohol are dangerous if misused, and that’s a message worth getting out – but that’s very hard to do when the message itself is stygmatized in such a way… If a teenager reads this discussion and tries to figure out what opinion to believe, it’ll be up to the dice which one he ends up with. And the default will be to have no opinion and just try whatever drugs they come upon by chance. There is no consistent, true message about drugs out there, and that’s a shame.

In a sense, you could say that those adverts, because of their misleading message, are indirectly responsible for some people destroying their lives with drugs. That’s a shame, and certainly not what their authors intended.

  13. Goran Web

That was the last thing that I was expecting when I opened the page. And as I scrolled down they got worse and worse. Well no one should be taking Meth, thats for sure.

  14. Ian

An excellent collection of adverts relating to meth addiction.

The best adverts are the ones that stick in the mind for whatever reason. The inclusion of strong text makes this effect even bigger. It makes it more effective in its approach, which is important for this subject.

People complain about graphic images being in media, but in this case, its worth the controversy to counter the effects of what drugs can do to humans.

  15. Daniel

While these ads are good (I won’t say appealing, but they do have a certain grunge aspect to them) I agree with the sentiment in this discussion that drug usage in moderation is okay.

The first time I tried marijuana and realized those advertisements were complete bullshit I completely disregarded any kind of anti-drug advertisement for a long time. These days I use a lot more discretion when figuring out what kind of substances to put into my body.

In truth teenagers are always going to mess around with drugs. They did it in the 60s and 70s and most of teenagers from that era are now middle class parents of teens themselves. Instead of putting a big label on these substances (and honestly I think alcohol and tobacco are of much bigger medical and social concern than any illegal drug) that says “This is a great way to Rebel” there should be more of an effort to educate.

The problem is that when you objectively look at the facts about marijuana and many of the drugs you can’t really come up with any substantial medical/health reason not to occasionally use them. So they lie, from “Reefer Madness” to “If you smoke pot you are a loser” and our population’s dependence on pharmaceutical drugs (You know those ADHD meds you’re giving to your kid? They’re amphetamines, similar in chemical makeup to methamphetamine.) continues to increase.

  16. Random

Wow, there are some people here with some serious issues. From a design standpoint they accomplish their purpose by bringing some against the use of meth and some for it.

On the other hand I do think is dangerous to think of drugs the way some people here do, like just moderation will help, which sadly is a lie seen everywhere. Coming from a home where drugs were used constantly and for which I almost lost my brother for a heroine addiction, I believe in the message of discouraging everyone to even try it once. Life is better experienced without having to depend on drugs or any other thing to make us feel better. I understand that in some cases medicated drugs are needed and I also understand that dependencies are hard to break free from, I am not judging, but I believe it is a better message to discourage people that to encourage them to do them in moderation.

  17. Crystal

I think a lot of the people on here saying that moderation is OK are completely wrong. Almost every hardcore drug addict started as an moderate user. Thats how it starts, and then it develops into a more serious addiction. The only way to make sure you will never become an addict is to never do the drug to begin with. Otherwise you are playing with your life.

There are very few people who have the willpower and know-how to do drugs in moderation, especially drugs which are seriously addicting like meth and heroin. Even smart and strong people fall prey to the addictive nature of those drugs.

Why would anyone condone drug use in moderation if there is a good potential for that person to become a serious addict down the road? Would you have that same laid-back attitude toward drug use if it was your children who were considering trying meth, heroin, or crack? I somehow doubt it…

  18. Anonymous

“On the other hand I do think is dangerous to think of drugs the way some people here do, like just moderation will help, which sadly is a lie seen everywhere. Coming from a home where drugs were used constantly and for which I almost lost my brother for a heroine addiction, I believe in the message of discouraging everyone to even try it once.”

That doesn’t sound like moderate use. Your argument reduces to “I did A, therefore you should not do B”.

“I believe it is a better message to discourage people that to encourage them to do them in moderation.”

I agree. Drug use should not be encouraged, whether in moderation or otherwise, but nor should it be irrationally attacked as in these adverts. And if someone is going to do drugs, they should have the information available to do so safely. Similarly, you wouldn’t want your 14 year old daughter to have sex, but if she’s going to, hell, you want her to at least know how to do it safely.

“Almost every hardcore drug addict started as an moderate user.”

Almost every dead driver started out as a learner driver. Should we discourage people from learning to drive? No, because driving serves a purpose, as do recreational drugs.

“There are very few people who have the willpower and know-how to do drugs in moderation, especially drugs which are seriously addicting like meth and heroin. Even smart and strong people fall prey to the addictive nature of those drugs.”

I certainly agree as far as the harder drugs are concerned, which is why the information about drugs should be clear, reliable, trustworthy. People shouldn’t try heroin, crack, or meth, particularly when there are better, much safer recreational drugs that are far more enjoyable (LSD, MDMA, weed, mushrooms), have much less severe side-effects (if any), and are not addictive.

For those of you geting your information online, here are some excellent, up to date, researched and peer-reviewed articles on methamphetamine hydroxide. Yep, it’s pretty vile shit. Battery acid, ephedra, rat poison, red phosphorus, and a long list of other equally as toxic. Here’s a fact for the day…every ingredient used to make meth is lethal if a person ingests it alone. Yep. True. But you mix them all together, and somehow you come up with a Chemical Cocktail, and all that comes with it!

Pretty amazing that anyone could still do this kind of shit, even being very well educated on the substance and the subject. But that’s addiction for you.

  21. redbyte

    Umm Ashly?

People will always judge a book by it’s cover. Whether you like it or not a LOT of people will look down on you for taking drugs. Deal with it.

Sure you haven’t robbed anyone but the rest of society doesn’t know that. To a lot of people (myself included) Drugs = Theft, Violence, Jailtime.

You really want to take Meth? Then grow up and take everything that comes with it.

No one cares that you have a “great personality” or that you “look fine, no scabs or bad teeth”. The fact that you are on here trying to downplay a drug of this nature makes me sick.

As the Anonymous poster above said, hitting up 2-5 times a day is NOT a healthy addiction by any stretch of the imagination. Get help NOW

When you have been told your whole life something is horrible for you and a ‘drug’ and then one day you smoke weed and see it is a medicine, abused by many yes, but never the less a natural substance that helps you reveal yourself to your self, you may suddenly disregard anything else you have been told is bad, (i.e. meth). But when it comes down to what you choose to put into your body, research. Don’t listen to the biased media and who cares if the miss represent something, just don’t rely on their information, HAVE A BRAIN! LOOK IT UP YOUR SELF BEFORE YOU BUT IT IN A NEEDLE AND SHOOT IT UP! It just doesn’t make sense to me why we criticize advertising when no ones requiring you to trust it, weather it is representing fact or something blown completely out of proportion. do your own research and encourage others to just do the same.

  25. laura

To abandon yourself to anything requires a tiny weak mind, Hunter S, Thompson said that being sober is the last resource for those weak enough to handle altered mind states (not the quote as such yet the idea is that). I’ve been using meth every other weekend, acid as well and a lot of pot on a daily basis and after almost ten years of it I still have a job, a house, a family, friends. I’m not the only one able to perform such a “hard” thing, it only takes discipline. Quit complaining about drugs, complain about weak people that fuels the governments enough reasons to spend stupid amounts of money to “save” people from drugs and give the chance to violent drug dealers to have huge income. BTW I was not looking for this site, stumbled on it.

  26. NonMethHead

    @Ashly Lorenzana:
    Ashley-

I really hope that is a fake name and picture. How embarrassing. Not only did you brag about your habitual daily use of meth, but then you actually went on to say how great your teeth, skin, and ethics are? Give it some time, and I am sure you will be just as crazy as the people in those ads (you probably are pretty close already, based on your ridiculous comments).

  27. i lived it

Having lived with a mom that has been a meth addict for 3 years now i can tell you all how devistating meth can be. the pain of seeing my mom with half a face everyday is more then i could bear. i have lived with my mom my whole life till about 6 months after her addiction started. i can’t express how scary it was never knowing where she was or what she was doing. oh and when she came down from a high it was like she was a totally different person she tried to commit suicide somewhere around 6 times. she hasn’t had a job in 4 years and isn’t interested in getting one. she has been homeless and living with various boyfreinds for 2 years. i don’t know how she survives. she says she is getting better but how will i ever know when i live 5 thousand miles away. i love my mom with all my heart but she chose meth over being a mom. enough was enough. this is harder then you know to talk about but i am hoping it will help at least one person out there. i love you mom…and i always will. get better and i will come home soon.

  28. Dan

For all out there dreaming that meth is fun or it is ok, its only once, or what ever you want to think just one thing get help please!!!!!!!!! my wife and I are raising children that are not ours, we have 2 great kids from a mom that loves meth and thinks it ok and thinks that its everyone elses fault that nothings wrong with only doing it well ya know only once, twice, maybe once more,,,,,ect..ect. Blah blah I will have no remorse for some one who does its sells it or what ever. here is an eye opener Its not us its the drug until you sober up you will never see it may you get the help you need and lead good lives an prosper.

    Ashly, Ashly, Ashly…
First of all, the site was asking intelligent contributors to society, who actually care about making this world a better place, their thoughts on the message of “Anti drug use”.
It’s not Ashlys My Space page so get over yourself.
The second point is you are a fake. 2-5 times a day and still a fine upstanding citizen. I think not. Chipping heroin, possibly, meth, no. While working in the field of street medicine as well as running convicted felon work crews I can spot a liar and a phony. You are either an educated poser trying to be controversial (Ohhh, she’s bad) and get the rush off the feedback OR You have used or better yet, know someone who has used and are making a pathetic attempt to fool people into believing you are a tweaker and somehow still hold it all together. I won’t give it any more thought as I find you trite and boring.

Well, I have to say, I know Ashly personaly and she is far from a liar. You may not agree with her lifestyle, or what she has to say, but she is a very honest person. I know she is not glamorizing drug use, she is just being real about it, and these ads are rediculous, wheather you do drugs or not. Do you really think these ads are going to deter anyone from drug use? especially kids? It was no different from when i was in school, and we watched that movie about drugs in health class, you know the one that was spliced 40 times, telling you the dangers of smoking weed and other drugs? Then guess what, we get out of school, go to a party, everyone is getting high, getting laid, having fun, hmmmm..not sure about you, but when i was a teenager, im pretty sure im going along with the having fun and getting laid senerio. This country will never win the war on drug, mainly because of the stupid misconceptions and stereotypes . So Mr mo jo, you really arent too good at spotting a liar are you

As a former meth addict these were very hard to watch. I think its intense and it doesnt sugar coat the harsh reality of meth use. I believe these videos should be played for high school students and middle school students around the country. Its a very serous epidemic and its killing children around the country. As a new mom i will do whatever it takes to insure that this will never happen to my child. Raising awareness is only the first step.

    @Ashly:

Ashly, your not too smart are u? Do u think slaming any drug all day or once a day is cool? You act like your addiction is under control. I can care less if you quit or dont quit when you grow up and see how much real addiction sucks, but you sound like your promoting meth. I love drugs. Used almost every thing out there. Countless times. Then I tryed meth at about 18. It dosnt inslave you with one hit but it inslaves you. Im 27 now. I never stayed up for more then 4 or 5 days and a month brake every month or two of partying. My little brother started shooting to get higher then he could from smoking. Thats when I knew I messed up. Almost 2 years ago I lost the one thing in life that made me care to quit smoking dope. My brother Ty. I told him to try some with me if he wanted. 5 years later his heart stoped in the shower. You could be lying like some say. I dont care if you are. In your picture you do have that young tweeker look and a dumb ” Im 21 and know more then everyone.” look. You must have a good income in a job of little skill or drive. Try herion next. Its fine to slam 4 or 5 times a day too. Have fun now becase hell is gana start in the next ten or so years and we should kick it and be hipacrits together. im in san jose CA on the south side. see u soon and until then stay safe and give my love out to you cat and snake.

Not really interested in this subject but don’t ask why im even bothering to comment about it to be honest its because in this world there is so many people like you guys out there that think you know it all when really you don’t. WOW just carefully read what Ashly’s saying, NO shes not saying Meth is grate Meth is normal its ok for the whole world to take a part of it. What im readying is someone telling the truth about there experience and telling all you haters out there that people with strong personalty’s still exist in this crazy world. Im sure she has a really good understanding that what shes taking (METH) causes allot of damaged to her life but obviously she had a reason somewhere in her life that made her try it and also making her take it till this day. You Mr MoJo JoJoNo please before talking about this sight being something to change this world to a better place try change you self first because your words to me is someone over rating his self by saying ”I can spot a liar and a phony” That indicates how uv over rated you self because i know and you know there’s always someone better then you. I don’t know how you want to make this world a better place because you have just called someone you don’t know fake so i wounder how fake you are??? Also you NATER it really shows your on this argument because off your actions in the past a lost brother could mean the whole world but shows you got him into it and you hate towards the drug makes you sit and talk bad things about it all your life because your clearly said to Ashly ”i could care less if shes on the drug or not” so please stop being ”fake” your just talking to the drug for what you’ve done wrong not Ashly, face the truth and start worring about your own problems. I

Also you NATER it really shows your in this argument because of your actions, you have the past and the hate towards this drug in your heart for ever even if you don’t smoke anything till your dieing day.A lost brother could mean the whole world but shows you got him into it and you hate towards the drug makes you sit and talk bad things about it all your life because your clearly said to Ashly ”i could care less if shes on the drug or not” so please stop being ”fake” your just talking to the drug for what you’ve done wrong not talking to Ashly, face the truth and start worrying about your own problems. Its amazing that you could never know what people feel or really think and people like you guys still think you know it all and start saying your point of view. Try give others a chance to share what they know is right for them Ashly if what your saying is true it dose not effect you as much and you cant quiet then don’t just do less. ANGER, DEPRESSION, ETC are in our life’s weather its METH or not. Those kids and grown ups in the videos could be some Innocent kids with no families for all types of reasons if you guys really want to change this world then focus on your own kids and families not come on the net and put others down all of you are no one more special from anyone. If we want to count the dangers in life there will be a never ending list to right, To start of with even living is not good for you because you end up dieing…MAKE YOUR CHANGES FIRST THEN CHANGE OTHERS DON’T JUDGE OTHERS BECAUSE OTHERS FORGET WHAT YOU SAID IF THEY THINK THERE RIGHT NO MATTER WHAT…Cant handle drugs then stay away from them end of the day the choice is yours same time its others choice. (Ashly there’s to many haters)

  42. Nick

Ive grown up around meth, I have tweakers in my family, I lost my wife to meth. I would say all these adds are accurate in one way or another. Its gotten to a point for me that euthanasia seems to be the only way to end the suffering of these creatures and to farther the safty and tranquility of society and all mankind. Tweaker values= LIE, CHEAT, STEAL, RAPE, MURDER. There is no rehabilitation. These values can be suppressed but never cured.
